Celebrating 200 Combined Years with Two Centenarians

A Special Lunch with Yvonne Austin and Rita O’Brien

Shepparton Club had the honour of welcoming two truly remarkable women for lunch recently – Yvonne Austin and Rita O’Brien. Born just months apart in 1926, these inspiring centenarians together represent an incredible 200 combined years of life, wisdom, and community spirit.

What made the visit even more extraordinary is that both Yvonne and Rita are still living independently – a testament to their strength and vitality. Their presence brought so much warmth and joy to everyone at the club, and it was a privilege to share the afternoon with them.

We thank Yvonne and Rita for their smiles, their stories, and for making this such an unforgettable occasion. It was a pleasure to celebrate them at Shepparton Club.
